Things are hectic here at Crowdsight HQ, after a couple of extremely useful Sports Marketing conferences in the UK & Ireland and a great weekend in Barcelona at the Fan Engagement Forum, we’re delighted to be getting recognised state-side as well!

Following a competitive application process and what I’m told was a record number of start-up applications this year, Crowdsight has been selected as the only European start-up to take part in the SEAT Consortium sports tech start-up pitch.

Why is this exciting? SEAT (Sports & Entertainment Alliance in Technology) is recognised as THE premium Sports Technology conference in the US.

While SEAT has recently extended its conferences to include a European stop annually, it is the US conference, this year taking place in San Francisco, that has been an essential entry in the diary of senior Sports Executives across America for almost a decade.

Last year, SEAT founder Christine Stoffel, motivated over 700 attendees to attend this peer to peer conference – meaning apart from a very select number of Sponsor vendors, all attendees were actually involved with either a professional/college sports team or league. This is very much an international affair though and digital marketing guru Sean Callanan ensures that sports execs from as far afield as the Australasia region are well represented!
